Get regular health checkups
This is a very important thing to do even if you are feeling healthy go for your routine checkups.
It’s always a good idea to review your medications from your doctor. If there is any problem the
regular checkup will definitely catch it before its late.
Exercise
Make a habit of exercising atleast for 30 minutes 5-6 days a week. Exercise is good for your
health. It helps in reducing the chances of diseases and even increases your glow in the face.
Limit the consumption of alcohol
Try to avoid the alcohol most of the time and if you want to drink and make is very occasional
because alcohol consumption is not at all a very good idea it affects directly the health of an
individual. So make smart choice and live a healthier life.
Eat healthy
One of the most important tip is to keep a healthy diet. Include more fruits and vegetables and
whole grains in your diet. Stay hydrated, drink more fluid specially water. Consuming raw fruits
than drinking juice is better.
Talk to your closed ones
When depressed your creativity, sense of humor and ideas of having fun may decrease. Talk to
your friends and family about the problem you are facing. Sharing problems help in reducing the
problem. If you don’t feel comfortable doing this then atleast play or have a talk with your
friend.
Focus on good things
Don’t get distracted from the disturbing things which may affect your mental peace. To shift
your focus from those kind of things try to see good things or do good things. Start doing
whatever you loved doing and have now stopped doing it. The more good you notice, the more
good you will feel.
Get enough sleep
Lack of sleep will increase your level of depression. Try to get enough sleep of atleast 8 hours,
this will also help you to stay healthy. Do not overthink before going to bed, be calm and relaxed
and think of good things or talk to your friends who can make you laugh.
